The Land Trust Committee trains volunteers to help monitor private land protected by conservation easements, as well as parcels owned by the Land Trust. For conserved properties the Association owns, Land Trust volunteers monitor, manage, and steward them to protect and maintain critical environmental benefits. They also create and maintain trails on properties open to the public and work to control invasive species.
Committed volunteers make up the Salisbury Association’s Board of Trustees and its three governing committees. Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer is welcomed and may participate on an adhoc or part-time basis any time of the year, whether for one of our special projects or for an activity of particular interest.
