The Historical Society records, preserves, and presents the Town’s history. We manage, conserve, and display a collection of historic artifacts, artwork, books, documents, and maps relating to Salisbury. We capture everyday life in Salisbury through our Oral History Project and an archive of more than 3,600 digitized photos which are available to the public.
The Historical Society welcomes volunteers to help with exhibits, educational programs, cataloging collections, and publishing materials. If you enjoy researching, preserving, and celebrating the rich history of Salisbury, please join us. We meet regularly at the Academy Building. To learn more, contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone 860-435-0566. Or stop by the Academy Building and talk with Lou Bucceri, our Executive Assistant.
