The Timber Rattlesnake in CT –3 pm at SML
Scoville Memorial Library 38 Main Street, Salisbury, CTHank Gruner, a herpetologist, will present a historical overview of the decline of the timber rattlesnake. Efforts to eradicate rattlesnakes has led to the loss of many populations, and their conservation remains challenging. Co-sponsored by the Salisbury Association Land Trust.

4th of July Celebration
Town Grove, 42 Ethan Allen Street, LakevilleGather at Town Grove at noon to celebrate Independence Day with family and friends. Bring a picnic or purchase hot dogs from students in EXTRAS. Sit in the shade of the magnificent oak trees while Heman Allen, 1740-1778 (our own Lou Bucceri) reads the Declaration of Independence, followed by the Salisbury Band concert.
