Learn about the flying mammals that roost in the attics of the Salisbury Association's Academy Building and the Scoville Memorial Library in this presentation by Devaughn Fraser, a CT DEEP wildlife biologist and a specialist in bats. Then help count the bats on their nightly flight out of the Academy Building!

Join George Wallace, an avid birder, for a guided morning walk at our local bird preserve. Meet at the parking area on Scoville Ore Mine Road, just off Route 41, north of Salisbury.
Historical Walk Through Ames' Iron Works with Lou Bucceri, 11 AM
Learn about creating a meadow with native grasses and wild flowers. Sustainable land-care expert Mike Nadeau will talk about the transformation of the Salisbury Association Land Trust property, Vincent Preserve then lead a walk to the preserve to explore what is growing there and what the future may hold.
