Community Events sponsors exhibits on art, crafts, and volunteer organizations in the community. We also co-sponsor the Era of Elegance programs with the Scoville Memorial Library during the winter months. Presentations cover the decorative arts, architecture, museums, and historical homes.

The Corner Food Pantry provides nutritious food every week to people living in the tri-state area. Meet their clients and volunteers. Learn about food insecurity, the growing need, food sources, and how to be involved.

To mark its 50th anniversary in the summer of 2021, the Salisbury Volunteer Ambulance Service teamed up with Community Events and Historical Society to showcase this vital community organization with a special exhibit.

When Music Mountain marked its 90th anniversary in 2019, we sponsored an exhibition to celebrate this longest continuing summer chamber music festival in the country.

Wonders of Winter (WOW) art exhibition and sale honored Salisbury Winter Sports Association (SWSA), which supports our town’s 95-year ski jumping tradition.

During Covid, our Era of Elegance programs included virtual tours of historic homes including the Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington, CT and Monticello in Charlottesville, VA.
