Run largely by volunteers, the Association provides stewardship over 3,500 acres of conservancy land, preserves and presents Salisbury’s history and artifacts, conducts oral history interviews, and publishes books and maps.

We offer lectures and exhibits and sponsor popular community-wide events, such as the 4th of July Picnic and Salisbury Fall Festival. Other annual programs feature guided walks and bird programs on Land Trust conserved properties.

Through funds donated for specific purposes, we plant and care for trees, beautify Salisbury through the planting and tending of flowers and gardens, and help with improvements at the Town Grove. Working with the Town Historian, the Association helps fund repairs and cleaning for tombstones and signs in the town’s 12 cemeteries.
