From time to time we organize special programs and events for the community. Included are Heritage Walks in the Housatonic Valley, tours providing overviews of Salisbury’s history, workshops, and forums on our natural resources.

The Association sponsors several programs that help local students better understand and appreciate Salisbury and its heritage. The Historical Society works with elementary teachers to add a hands-on component that lets students experience history in exciting ways. It also mentors middle-school students interested in the National History Day Contest. The Land Trust funds environmental education classes for students by Sharon Audubon’s staff.
