1741 marked the year Salisbury received its charter from the Hartford Colony Assembly. For a settlement of that era to survive and thrive, it depended upon neighbors helping neighbors, no matter how difficult the task. This award honors the same kind of service and dedication to our community as shown by our early settlers.
