The Troutbeck Symposium is a student-led collaboration uncovering local history through documentaries, art exhibitions, and conversation. Middle and high school students from 14 regional public and independent schools have researched local histories of communities of color and other marginalized groups.

Hank Gruner, a herpetologist, will present a historical overview of the decline of the timber rattlesnake. Efforts to eradicate rattlesnakes has led to the loss of many populations, and their conservation remains challenging. Co-sponsored by the Salisbury Association Land Trust.
