The Salisbury Association Land Trust is excited to announce a community fundraising campaign to acquire 14 pristine acres in the heart of the Salmon Kill Valley. The parcel is located between Salmon Kill Road and the Salmon Kill creek, which runs for its entire six miles through Salisbury. The valley is extraordinarily scenic, with gorgeous views of bucolic farm fields and forested hills.

With the initial support of several generous donors, the Land Trust signed a contract that will protect this magnificent gateway of open pastures and forests to our town. To complete the purchase, we have received $300,000 in leadership gifts and $80,000 from lead donors who will match every individual gift from the community up to that amount. The Salisbury Association will contribute an additional $250,000 from its Land Trust fund. The acquisition will add to the 380 acres in the Salmon Kill Valley already under conservation and preserve the rural character of the valley.

There are a number of ways to donate to the Association.
